DEK
A brand takes shape.
A brand takes shape.
For DEK, I led the visual work from brand identity to industrial design and retail spaces. The aim was to make one brand recognisable across very different products: in the mark, on the packaging, in the object itself and at the point of sale.
The White Nights bulb packaging brings the graphic identity to an everyday purchase. The VA104 circuit breaker carries that identity into three dimensions: the housing, lever and colour combinations give a technical product a distinctive face. My authorship of its industrial design is recorded in patent 55696, registered in 2004.
Retail graphics connect the product families and help customers navigate the assortment. Together, these materials show design working as a system rather than as a series of separate commissions.
